DESCRIPTION:The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau will be hosting Jeff Shaffer\, Director of Community Engagement for Home for Good\, Thursday\, January 18th at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 1117 North H St. in Lompoc. Check-in will begin at 11:30 am\, with the program beginning at 11:45 am.\n\n \n\nThe cost to attend is $20 for Chamber members\, $30 for non-members. The price includes lunch\, for guests with special dietary needs\, please contact the Chamber.\n\n\n\n \n\nJeff Shaffer lives with his wife and three children in Buellton\, Ca.  He came to Santa Barbara County in 1992 and served as a pastor at Community Covenant Church until 2005.  In 2005 he left Community Covenant and established the Uffizi Order - a missional community dedicated to the marginalized in the city of Santa Barbara.  In 2010 he joined the Central Coast Collaborative and began a regional coordination plan to reduce homelessness and its impacts.  He is now the Director of Community Engagement for Home for Good.
