DESCRIPTION:The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau invites you to their "Dancing with the Stars" style fundraiser that will benefit both the Chamber and five other local non-profit organizations chosen by the participating dancers. The participants are working with professional dance instructors prior to the event and they will compete for the mirror ball trophy and the title of "Lompoc Valley Star\," all while raising money for their selected non-profit. Each dollar donated in their name counts as a vote\, and for every ticket sold\, $5 will go toward the selected dancer and their non-profit. Please indicate dancer in the comments section when registering online.\n\n\n\nThe dance studios that will be providing professional instruction are Garcia Dance Studio\, Boscutti Ballet Theatre and The Alley Project. \n\n\n\nOur local celebrity Stars include Lompoc Fire Chief Jerry Kuras\, Lompoc Police Department's Capt. Deanna Clement\, Allan Hancock College President Kevin Walthers\, Grocery Outlet's Alix Crocker\, Southside Coffee's Stacy Lowthorp\, and Coast Valley Substance Abuse Treatment Center's Chuck Madson. The non-profit organizations that will benefit from the efforts of our dancers are Shadows Fund\, The Boys and Girls Club - Game Room Renovation\, The Lompoc Theatre Project\, The Hancock Promise\, Hats for Hope\, and Fire-Velo Cycling Club who raises money for firefighter cancer awareness.\n\n\n\nJoin us Saturday\, March 10\, 2018 at the Anderson Recreation Center. Enjoy dinner catered by Central Coast Specialty Foods\, no-host wine and beer\, silent auction and seating for over 200.
