DESCRIPTION:The Lompoc First United Methodist Church at 925 North F Street will have a free organ concert on Sunday\, 9 October at 3:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nGuest organist will be Graham Blyth from Wantage\, Oxfordshire England where he is the Artistic Director of the Wantage Chamber Concerts and Director of the Wantage Festival of Arts. Graham designed our custom digital organ specifically for the Lompoc First United Methodist Church. He is an internationally acclaimed concert organist who has given concerts on many of the major pipe organs in the world. On Thursday\, 29 September\, he will perform this same concert on the largest church pipe organ in the United States located in The First Congregational Church of Los Angeles for the Audio Engineering Society Convention.\n\nHis approximate one hour concert will contain works by Buxtehude\, J.S. Bach\, Piern \, Franck and Bo llmann (Suite Gothique).\n\n\n\nThere will be a reception honoring Mr. Blyth after the concert.\n\n\n\nContact the church office at 736-1271 for more information about the concert
