DESCRIPTION:Pianist Lynne Garrett is well known to local audiences for her engaging performances as a collaborative artist. A founding member of the chamber music group Colloquy\, she has performed across the US\, as well as Mexico and Canada. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCSB\, and then continued studies with Dusi Mura. She earned the MM and DMA degrees in Piano Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music in New York. Mary Beth Woodruff\, a native of California\, attended the New England Conservatory of Music and MIT\, where she majored in both chemistry and music and was awarded an Advanced Music Performance Scholarship. She attended Carnegie Mellon University\, completing her MA in Violin Performance\, and then joined the faculty of Biola University Conservatory of Music in LA. Currently she is Conductor and Artistic Director of Santa Barbara Strings. Admission: Season Ticket or Adults $20.00 and Students 18 and under $6.00.
