DESCRIPTION:BREAKING NEWS: NOTICE OF EVENT POSTPONEMENT\n\n\n\nIt is not without reservation that I announce the postponement of three large upcoming scheduled Chamber events due to Covid-19/Coronavirus concerns.   \n \n\n  Dance Lompoc   March 21st\n\n  State of Vandenberg   March 23rd\n\n  State of the City   April 14th\n\n \n\nAs a community we must remain vigilant and take an educated approach in minimizing risk factors through mitigation strategies such as social distancing.  The Chamber is committed to supporting the Lompoc business community in any way we can and feel confident we can navigate this situation \n\ntogether.  \n\n \n\nI have provided a link to the CDC Coronavirus page below and encourage everyone to educate \n\nthemselves through reputable and reliable new sources only.  \n\nhttps://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html\n\n \n\nIf you've registered for any of the above events and did not receive a direct email regarding refund\, \n\nplease contact me directly at amber@lompoc.com or 805-736-4567 x225.  We sincerely apologize for \n\nthe inconvenience and look forward to getting back to business as usual very soon!    \n\n \n\nAmber Wilson\n\nPresident/CEO\n\nLompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce\n\n\n\n\nThe Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau invites the public to the  4th Annual Dance Lompoc\, a "Dancing with the Stars" styled fundraiser featuring "Lompoc Celebrities" in a dance competition to raise money for local non-profits\, on Saturday\, March 21\, 2020. The event will also feature a full-course dinner catered by Central Coast Specialty Foods\, wine and beer donated from local wineries and breweries\, as well as a silent auction full of excellent prizes. \n\n\n\nOur "Lompoc Celebrities" include Hurd Chiropractic's Morgan Hurd\, dancing an east coast swing routine with Anita Tubbs\;  Edith Damacio\, dancing a reggaeton routine with Sandra Garcia\; Certain Sparks founder Randall Sena\, dancing a salsa routine with Garcia Dance Studio\; Lompoc Unified School District's Bree Valla\, dancing hip-hop with Garcia Dance Studio\, and Claudia Terrones\, athletic director of Lompoc High School dancing a folklorico routine with Manuela Venegas. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held at the Anderson Recreation Center with cocktail hour beginning at 5:00 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm. Only 220 tickets will be sold and are only available online at Lompoc.com. They are $65 per person\, or $55 per person if purchased as a table of 8. DEADLINE FOR PURCHASE IS FRIDAY\, MARCH 13TH\n\n\n\nIf you would like to donate to one of the dancers and their organization of choice\, please make checks payable to "LVCC" and put the dancer's name in the memo line or call the office at (805) 736-4567 to capture payment over the phone.
