DESCRIPTION:We need YOU to help us conduct an accurate Homeless Point In Time Count and Vulnerability Survey! Common Ground Santa Barbara County\, in partnership with the Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness (C3H)\, is dedicated to housing the most vulnerable individuals and families in Santa Barbara County. Volunteers Needed To Help With Registry Week Help us survey people experiencing homelessness using the Vulnerability Index Survey (VI-SPDAT) and the Point in Time Count to discover how many friends we have on the streets throughout Santa Barbara County. In less than 10 hours you can attend the Volunteer Training and help us count on the two survey day mornings! The key to solving homelessness is understanding who is homeless.This year we are using an improved tool that is administered on a smart phone or tablet. It is important that we recruit and train hundreds of volunteers to make Registry Week a success! Training For All Volunteers Attend 1 of the following: Lompoc/Buellton/Santa Ynez Valley: Wednesday\, January 14: 5:30 ? 8pm @ City of Promise Shelter - 816 N C St\, Lompoc
