DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the Lompoc Open Streets event\, the Lompoc Valley Bicycle Club is hosting a post-event bicycle ride: the Santa Rita Hills Wine Country Tour. This is a scenic bike tour of the Sta Rita Hills wine appellation. There will be no stops for tasting\, but: you will receive information from and about many of the wineries along the route that do provide tasting. It's an approximately 36 mile ride with several moderately challenging climbs (not recommended for novice riders). There will be a lunch stop in Buellton\, with optional pre-order box lunches.

LOCATION:Start/Finish at Lompoc Home Depot\, 1701 E. Ocean Ave. The ride will go out Hwy 1 to Santa Rosa Rd.\, then to Buellton and back via Hwy 246.
