She answered the call to ministry in 1999 and began her Masters of Divinity at the Claremont School of Theology\, graduating in 2004.  She was born in and raised in Findlay\, Ohio\, a small community about 40 miles south of Toledo\n\nThe Rev. Price has been a pastor in the United Methodist Church serving churches throughout California. She is married and has one dog\, String Bean\,\n\nwho is the apple of her eye.  \n\nFirst UMC of Lompoc invites the community to join them in welcoming Pastor Joy Price to Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m.  Please check out the church's website at lompocumc.org for more information. The church is located at 925 N. F Street.
