The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its collaboration with WEV (Women's Economic Ventures) of Santa Barbara to host a free Financial Empowerment Class on Saturday, June 1st, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dick DeWees Community & Senior Center in Lompoc located at 1120 W. Ocean Avenue.

This Financial Empowerment Class aims to help individuals take control of their personal finances, understand their "money mindset," and create new financial habits to increase financial confidence and resilience. Attendees will have the opportunity to establish meaningful financial goals, learn how to create a budget, pay down debt, manage money effectively, and achieve long-term financial objectives.

"Greater personal financial confidence leads to greater business financial confidence," says DeVika Stalling President/ CEO of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce. "We are excited to partner with WEV to provide this valuable resource to our community members."

Additionally, participants will have the chance to engage with others for accountability on their financial journey through WEV's Financial Empowerment Groups. These monthly meetings offer ongoing support and resources to help individuals achieve their financial goals. While joining the group is optional, it is considered one of the most powerful parts of the program.
