The Lompoc First United Methodist Church at 925 North F Street will have a free organ concert on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.
The Austrian Cultural Forum is sponsoring Ulrike Theresia Wegele-Kefer, professor of organ at the University for Music in Graz Austria for five concerts in the US. Her concert, at our church, will be the last one in this U.S. Concert Tour.
Ulrike has performed at the International Organ Festival in Granada, Spain; the Haydn Festival in Eisenstat. In 2010 she was invited to play at the American Guild of Organists convention in Washington, D.C. In 2012 she performed at the famous Riverside Church in New York and at the renowned Pablo Casals Festival in Prades, France.
Her program will contain works by J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Brahms, Schumann and others.
There will be a free reception honoring Ulrike after the concert where she will autograph CDs.
