Description
Youth Theater is back in Lompoc this summer and bringing you the story of a teenager's dream to dance on a local TV dance program. When Tracy wins a role on the show, she becomes a celebrity overnight, and meets a colorful array of characters such as Corny Collins and Velma Von Tussle. She then launches a campaign to integrate the show. Hairspray is a production that addresses social issues of parts of American society in the 1960s. Tickets are available at the Anderson Recreation Center at 125 West Walnut Avenue Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm. This production is made possible by the collaborative efforts of Lompoc Recreation Division and Lompoc Youth Theater.
