Description
The Book Store in Lompoc will be hosting a reading from local author Ryne S. Torres' book The Many Voices of Ryne S. Torres. Ryne was an actor, director, musician and writer. Seven years after his untimely passing, his widow Rose found a box of his writings and sent the 150 short stories, poems and songs to his friend and fellow writer MJ Sewall. The book is Ryne's words woven together. Several of his friends and colleagues will perform the readings. The editor MJ Sewall will be available to sign books. Ryne became a type one diabetic at the age of twelve. All profits from this book will be donated to the JDRF Diabetes Foundation.
