Small Business Expo

Are you a small business owner, or do you plan to start your own business?  The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce is cohosting a Small Business Expo with one of our newest chamber members, LAUNCHpad.  Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 17.  Between 3 and 7:00pm, small biz experts will be on hand, offering workshops and answering your questions one-to-one, including representatives from SCORE (formerly Service Corps of Retired Executives) and SBDC (Small Business Development Center).  SCORE and SBDC both offer no-fee mentoring to small business owners.  There will also be local experts in online marketing, web design, printing, finance, network marketing, and more.  A schedule of events will be posted at lompoclaunchpad.com as soon as our presenters list is finalized.  We will also have a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate LAUNCHpad’s grand opening.  LAUNCHpad offers private offices, coworking space, meeting rooms, and learning and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and independent workers.  According to co-founder Ean Behr, “We’ve been operating under the radar for a few months, but now we’re ready to celebrate and show off our space.  We really want to become a hub for small business.”  LAUNCHpad is located in the Northside Shopping Center at 1010 North H Street.
