Description
Innovation and collaboration are the themes of this year's event. A post-millennial car and green wheels show, a solar cook-off, and the debut of the 805 Slackers rope-walkers will give evidence of innovation. Representatives of Community Action Commission and the YMCA, SB County Public Health Department, collaborated with leaders of Lompoc Co-op Development Project (LCPD) to plan this years fun.
In addition to the fun, morning 'Platica Cooperativistas' will be held at 10am. Speakers will engage discussions in English and Spanish about a different kind of business model and entrepreneurship being done with cooperatives throughout the country. Women's business ownership and youth employment are among the topics.
